What is Cage Free Boarding?
At Dog Cabin Resort, cage-free boarding means your dog isn’t confined to a kennel unless that’s what they’re used to at home. We’re not a traditional boarding facility—we’re designed to feel like a second home. If your dog naps on the couch or sprawls out on a dog bed at home, they’ll do the same here.
What truly sets us apart is that we are staffed 24/7. Your dog is never left alone. We even have someone sleep in the room with the dogs overnight, which helps ease the stress of being away from home.

- Kennels (available if preferred by the dog or owner)

At Dog Cabin Resort, we specialize in socialization. Our goal is to help every dog become confident and well-rounded—comfortable around dogs of all sizes. Rather than separating large and small dogs, we focus on teaching appropriate behavior through supervised, structured play.
Our staff is trained to quickly manage and correct behaviors like chasing, humping, or rough play—regardless of the dog’s size. This way, your dog learns how to safely and calmly interact with dogs of all shapes and sizes. So the next time your small pup meets a big dog out in the world, they’ll feel confident—not scared.
Why don’t you allow in-person tours of your facility?
Because we’re a cage-free facility, the safety and comfort of our dogs is our top priority. Allowing unfamiliar visitors into their space can create unnecessary stress or anxiety, both for the dogs and for you.
To the dogs, this environment feels like home—and just like at home, dogs can be protective or uneasy around strangers. For this reason, we do not allow outside traffic to maintain a calm, secure atmosphere for everyone in our care.
Our facility includes four large outdoor play yards, two large indoor play rooms, kennels, suites, one indoor-outdoor suite, a grooming room, and space to safely separate dogs for feeding times and nap times.
Pricing
Play and Stay Boarding
- $48 per 24 hour time period
The price is for a 24 hour time period. Daycare rates apply on the day of check out if check out time is past the check in time.
Boarding Requirements
- We require a mini day of daycare before boarding reservations will be accepted.
- All boarding dogs must arrive before 2 pm on the day of arrival.
- Please bring food and anything else that might make your dog feel more comfortable for their stay.
- Vaccines: DHPP, Bordatella, Rabies
- All dogs over six months must be spayed or neutered.
